Visual and action-based methods 

draw upon the participants’ experiential knowledge. They are utilized in parallel with individual reflection and discussions.

  • What? Small-scale, easy and inspiring work methods that are customized to the work of the group and the goals of the event. They help generate a multifaceted picture and a shared understanding about the issue at hand.

  • Why? The visual dimension and the other senses expand our stiff everyday thinking. They allow for a more holistic way of tackling important topics, helping to discover and integrate new and diverse perspectives. This generates mutual interest, trust and positive interaction.

  • How? The participants get acquainted to the work methods gradually, thereby challenging themselves little by little to step on the periphery of their comfort zone. This leads to enthusiasm and efficient cooperation, and a greater freedom of action at everyday work.

are vital. We need stories in order to know who we are and to relate to one another. Through stories we create meaning and help ourselves and each other to understand that which is complicated. The stories that we tell ourselves drive our actions. They can either make us smaller and lock us into the habitual, or open up doors for new possibilities.

When we become aware about our present story, we get the keys to a new one – one that can serve us better.
